Charitable Contribution
As Patron of Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity) Jo Cameron is committed to raising more money to stop so many babies dying each day. Jo’s daughter Emmeline was born prematurely at 24 weeks in August 2006 and didn’t survive. The contribution from this event will add to the thousands Jo has already raised with her Weakest Link win and the seventeen 10k races that she is taking part in throughout 2008 and 2009.
Seventeen babies a day die in the UK and Jo is determined to help reduce this number by raising vitally needed funds for research.
